A modest block in a new housing development, centred around an internal courtyard. Each living space holds a connection to its environment.
Raked ceilings to the north, extensive glazing, highlight windows, roof form critical for solar gain without asking for much in return.
Material selection here had a clear brief: build a beach house the owners could actually afford to keep. Cement sheet cladding across the entire facade, lifted with Silvertop Ash cover straps from @radialtimber and hardwood timber window reveals.
